Yeah, I can’t think of anything for a new layout. Well, I can, but it looks good in my head but looks crappy when I try to put it together on the computer. I’ve pretty much been sitting here, being bored for the last 2 hours. I was going to play ragnarok with Harry on evo-ro but alas, it is down for an update. There are people whining about it in the forums so I’ve been looking at those hehe. Some are funny.
I officially-officially got hired today by The Source. I went to the district manager’s office in the Bellscorner’s mall and filled out a wad of paper work and got an overly large shirt. The shirt, that looked like it would fit me when I saw it, does not. I took a woman’s medium because there were no smalls and this was the last medium and because I’m usually a medium. But seeing this shirt, you would think I received an XL. It is absolutely giant. I tried pinning some of it back but that didnt work. I can’t even stuff much of it in my pants to tuck it in. My plan is to bring another shirt (that actually fits) and that’s dressy so I might get away without wearing the giant hunch-back shirt. I swear, they made the shirt so it could accomodate a woman with DD breasts and a large hunchback.
Yay – getting hired at the source means no more deli meat! But, I love the people there…

Yay today was a good day (compared to yesterday anways..) ! Today I got my report card with marks I’m happy about and a lady from The Source just called to tell me I’m hired and I need to pick up my ’shirt’ and fill out more paper work! I’m soo excited to work at the Source! I guess this means I need to quit my deli job someday lol… darn! /sarcasm
So, report card! These are the midterm report cards to basically tell us if our futures look dim or bright haha. Mine is pretty bright! (grade 12 by the way!)
- Chemistry – 88%
- Geometry and Discrete Mathematics – 79% (its hard!)
- Calculus – 85%
It’s also weird to think that I’m one of the last kids taking the “Geometry and Discrete” course. The Ontario government is getting rid of it next year. (I think it’s because they think the kids are too dumb to take it now :\) But apparently they’re smushing the calculus and discrete classes to form a new insanely hard class that you need TWO grade 11 maths to get into. Right now you only need one grade 11 course to get into a grade 12 one. That’s pretty insane. Poor Tori!

Yess I’m nearly done all this website stuff I have to do for other people! Then I can work on stuff for myself!!! I’m so excited! I finished my portfolio site too which is good. I’ve been meaning to do that for quite a while. :lol: Next is a new blog layout. This current layout is pretty cool so I might makes some changes and make it a downloadble theme. No one really comes here though, so I doubt anyone will download it :P /emo. I really feel like making a shitload of layouts for no reason. This thought excites me immensely. I really feel like getting hardcore into PHP and MySQL as well. I feel the stong desire to write scripts for everything.
I also got another Threadless shirt this weekend too. It’s the Ctrl-Z one. It is quite spiffy.
I worked this weekend too. It wasn’t so spiffy. I don’t really like touching all the processed meat in the deli. Though some of it looks good, I can’t help but think that it’s not really.. real. Yuck. :dizzy:
