We got out homework (as usual) in Geometry and Discrete Mathematics today and just about 5mins ago, Harry said he didn’t get question #6. It’s hard to explain such a graphical proof so I drew it instead. It’s so beautiful. Ironically enough, Harry stumbled upon the answer 5 seconds before I finished. :dizzy:
We basically have to prove that the chord AB bisects the angle DAC. All the black is given, the red has been drawn in. The not-so-formal proof on the right.

I finally got it so I could display 3 random fanlistings without totally messing up the rest of WP’s database stuff. This is all I had to do:
- Merge the entire fanlistings’ databases into the wordpress one, renaming all the tables.
- Re-install Enthusiast (I also decided to upgrade to 3.1)
- Re-add all owned listings
- Mess around with the tables so I wouldn’t have to manually add the 180+ joined listings…ugh
- Finally: re-activate the little snippet I added so I could randomly show 3 fanlistings from the database.
Crazy amount of work for what seemed to be something very simple. It’s all because wordpress is self-absorbed so it doesn’t want any other database coming into the picture. I was so mad when I saw the database structure changed a little… Ugh. New categories were also added to TFL.org so I just used the cats from the previous version of Enth I had. So yay it works now.
For good measure, I also pruned all the fanlistings that were dead or removed me from the list. That was a good 58 of them :P

Ugh I totally wasted this break like I do every school break. I sat around and did nothing besides eating and sleeping. All I really did was go on the computer and work sometimes. I’m a loser, I know. Now I get to go back to school in 4 days. At least my life won’t be as boring for a bit. I meant to get a haircut and a bunch of other stuff while on this 2 week long break but did I? Nope. The only web-related thing I did was maybe a few entries here and revamped my fanlisting collective in which I’m SO tempted just to destroy anyways. Fanlistings are really dead/pointless to me now. I don’t even feel like having any sort of site right now. Ughh /depressed
