Finally!
Anyone who visited my site within the past week or more (I forget how long it was…) would have noticed my site was ‘down’. That was just my domain being expired and the registrar I was with doing nothing about it. I paid for my renewal - nothing happened. I file support tickets and email them - nothing. I finally opened a PayPal dispute against them (GG for Paypal) and they refunded me and told me they were sorry. Still no word if I can have my domain.
At this point I say “screw them” and initiate a transfer to my current registrar who doesn’t suck. I require codes and sorts of things from the crappy registrar and outsourced admin guy though! I get the first batch of codes but I need more. I still haven’t gotten those yet.
The outsourced support dude then emailed me saying that I need to renew the domain to make a transfer. This was a few hours ago. So I paid the same amount to get it renewed under crappy-reseller-registrar and I’ve previously paid for the transfer. >_<. I’m happy that my domain is back up at the moment, but depressed that I spent more than I wanted and had my site down for longer than desired. As soon as I get this transfer I can rejoice and continue on with my life.

I haven’t renewed a domain before, going to be doing it this september, I’m sort of dreading it because I know I’ll muck it up somehow lol.
