Happy 2008
It’s a new year according to the Gregorian Calendar. Does it feel any different? Nope.
I guess I will stick to the ‘tradition’ though by making some new years goals.
- Stop procrastinating. Do this by forcing myself to get things done.
- Exercise. Do this by promising to run or do weights every third day to start.
- Learn more Japanese. Memorize Katakana and learn some more kanji.
- Get a new theme up here… (almost done this one).
A tip for other people and their goals: make sure you make relatively small and realistic goals. If I were to say “Stop procrastinating” only, where would I start? I need a stepping stone before I get up the mountain. I would start small like making a to do list and checking small things off as I do them.
The problem with new years resolutions and people not compelteling their goals is the fact that they make unrealistic and unreachable goals. “Lose weight” doesn’t really mean much unless you say “Lose one pound every month” or something more specific.
How I spent my New Years
Camping out in a tent with a bunch of guys in a barn. It was bloody cold.

Happy new year! The tip is corrrect… one liners never happen, but if you elaborate and set up a game plan, it’s achievable. Best of luck this year!
