This is where the time went.
Yes, I forgot about websites and I really didn’t feel like doing ANYTHING for the longest time. Hopefully that will change now. It’s been SO busy these past couple weeks though. The best things: Accepted to Waterloo for Computer Science (my first choice!) and also accepted to all the other universities I applied for; won a couple rugby games and just finished a tournement today, and also got “player-of-the-game” award for one of them; and I’ve just been happy but a little stressed.
English is my only important course this semester, and I don’t really care about it at all anymore since I was accepted to university, but I’m sure I should still try not to fail. It ridiculous though, my teacher is a total dummy, for lack of an appropriate way to say how I really feel. I realize that we should have our hands held for grade 12, but she tells us NOTHING of what she needs or wants us to do. We are now writing our super-duper important research paper and she says: write a thesis. About what? What kind of paper is it even? (Or some kids: what’s a thesis?). She doesn’t help at all and the entire class isn’t doing that great. I’m really pissed off/stressed about it because of her, but even more stressed because my final ‘exam’ in outdoor ed is a 6-day canoe trip up in Temagami, ON and the essay is pretty much due right after that. She said to our class: “Oh you’ll have the nice long weekend to work on your important projects!”. Myself and another guy whose in my OE class and I just exchanged the “WTF I hate my life” looks. We let her know we wouldn’t be here and she then said: “Oh! Well, thats too bad!”. Grr. Other than that, life is peachy!
I’ve also had another layout in the works for about 3 months now… but I kinda just dropped everything web based for a while to do, um, nothing. So maybe I’ll get around to that, provided people actually visit my site? Haha..
