OneNote; or many…
It’s been an extremely lazy long Easter weekend for me. I’ve been so bored, I actually downloaded free (and trial versions) of Microsoft software! What is the world coming too! I saw one piece of software in particular that interested me - OneNote. It’s a program where you can type in notes, organize them in “notebooks” and have sections in these notebooks with pages. Everything is saved as you type, so you probably won’t ever lose any data. If you’re in university/college or high school, this is dead useful. I’ve seen it before as part of the Office suite for 2007, but I wanted to check it out even further. It especially sparked my interest because of the organization level. From what I had seen before I downloaded the trial, it was very nice and had good organization ‘tactics’. So, while being extremely bored, I decided to see if there was such thing as a trial for this piece of software from MS that happened to look good.
I browsed through like, 20 pages just to find out where to get it, but finally, I got to the place where I could download the trial version - yay! Then I saw that the file size for the download was 195mb… Was it worth it? Since I have a fairly speedy connection, I decided it was. Once it was done, I fired it up and entered the trial key they give you. No problems so far, which is a surprise. It took me a couple minutes, but once I got it going, I discovered this program is actually the itty-bitty gem in a sea of crappy MS programs. It was totally worth the 195mb download, and it’s definitely really useful. Right now I’m putting in a few recipes I’m finding on AllRecipes and it’s working great. I’m also considering transferring all my current class notes to this program, it will definitely make it a ton easier for exams. It would also help for studying if I type them up.
In the end, I would highly recommend you give it a shot, especially for those bound for university/college or any other school for that matter. It’s really nifty! (No, I’m not being endorsed by MS to say everything stated above…)

Oooh, I must check out that program!!! Well, I hardly bring my laptop to school, let alone take notes with it. For me, I play games, watch videos and draw on the laptop. Hmm, maybe I’ll give it a try next year when I go back to school
