I Quit.
So I thought The Source was going to be the job that I was waiting for. Turns out its not. Simple as that.
First: I was questioning why we had to fill insane quotas when obviously not many customers are going to come in - and we can’t MAKE them buy shit.
Second: It’s a seasonal job. Wow! That’s news to me - thanks guys.
Third: Wtf? I have to go to training sessions miles away in the middle of the week, during the middle of the afternoon? Sorry guys - I got to school so I won’t be working at The Source for the rest of my life.
Fourth: The crap they’re selling is crap.
So I went and resigned way back on tuesday and then officially wrote my note of resignation and brought back the shirt on wednesday. Dave seemed mad.
So now I’m back at the deli - no not jobless. The Source paid me so I’m fine with that now. I didn’t even have to work at ALL this weekend. I swear, it’s my first weekend off since like August haha.
